Library of Things

The Grinnell Library is excited to announce the launch of our Library of Things collection! The Library of Things will include items such as games, tools, arts and crafts kits, educational materials, and more. Whether you want to try something new before you purchase or just need to use something one time, our Library of Things will be a great place to start.

Items Available

Nature Backpacks

Grinnell Library has nature backpacks available for check-out in the Children’s Room. We have children’s backpacks courtesy of the Adirondack Mountain Club and family backpacks courtesy of the Dutchess Land Conservancy.

The library lends nature backpacks to patrons who have library cards in good standing (not blocked). Checkout is limited to one per household. The lending period is 2 weeks, and the backpack cannot be renewed or reserved. Backpacks are available on a first-come, first served basis.
