How to Get a Library Card

Photo ID and proof of current address required.

 Valid picture ID includes:

  • Driver’s license
  • Military ID
  • Passport
  • School or College ID

Proof of current address needs to be provided, not a P.O. Box. This can be verified by:

  • Address on the license
  • Mail that has gone through USPS
  • A checkbook
  • Car registration
  • Lease or mortgage statement
  • Electric or gas bill

For applicants between the ages of 6 and 15, a parent or legal guardian must be present with the applicant, and accept responsibility for the use of the child’s library card. Both the applicant and the parent or guardian must sign the registration form.

Library cards expire after 3 years and can be renewed in person at the library.
