Mission Statement:

The Friends of Grinnell Library serve the community by assisting the library through financial support and volunteer activities.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 6pm at the Library. New members are welcome, so come share your ideas. We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization, separate from the Grinnell Public Library District.

If you are interested in making a donation to Friends of Grinnell Library to support our mission to help sustain Grinnell Library in many ways not funded through the budget, please send your check – no matter what the amount – made out to Friends of Grinnell Library at the following address:
