Friends of Grinnell Library

Mission Statement:

The Friends of Grinnell Library serve the community by assisting the library through financial support and volunteer activities.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month (at 6 PM) in the non-fiction room of the Grinnell Library. New members are welcome, so come and share your ideas.

We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization, separate from the Grinnell Public Library District.

Support the Friends, a registered 501 (c)(3) organization, through a tax-deductible donation!

You can also support the Friends through a variety of other donation methods, including estate planning.

Consider including a gift to the Friends of Grinnell Library in your will or living trust, or naming the Friends of Grinnell as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement assets. Your gift will create a legacy to help ensure the library will be enjoyed for generations to come. Planning instruments can include wills, trusts, gift annuities, IRAs, real estate and insurance plans.

To make a charitable bequest to the Friends of Grinnell Library, include a statement in your will or revocable trust agreement similar to the following:

I give and bequest (amount or percentage of bequest) to the Friends of Grinnell Library, with offices in Wappingers Falls, New York, for general tax-exempt purposes.

Please note that this should not be construed or taken as legal advice; consult with an attorney and/or a tax adviser before adding this or any charitable bequest to your will, trust or to your retirement account.
